For Prospective Dealers and Installers

At Power Partners Solar, we offer options, not only with our products but with our programs. Our Approved Dealer Program and Approved Installer Program may be applied for individually or at the same time, depending on your business needs.

Dealer Requirements

· Obtain credit approval.

· Pay a $350 dealership fee, plus purchase components in excess of $2,000 within 30 days of dealership award.

· A minimum purchase of $25,000 per fiscal year, per location.

· Manage both retail sales and custom orders.

· Submit business plans to demonstrate continued commitment and ability within 30 days of dealership award.

· Complete Power Partners Solar™ training classes in Athens, GA, as required.

We expect our dealers to:

· Have strong financial management skills and business growth experience.

· Have prior experience in solar, the green market or construction trades.

· Have experience in distribution.

· Have the staff to maintain a sustainable business with sound marketing, sales and customer service experience as your business grows.

Installer Requirements

· Obtain credit approval.

· Receive satisfactory background check, which requires a $25.00 fee that applies to all DBA or Sole Proprietors.

· Certificate of Insurance, with $1,000,000 minimum coverage and Power Partners, Inc., as an additional insured.

· Workers compensation coverage.

· A minimum purchase of $20,000 per fiscal year, per location. If applying as a dealer/installer, dealer annual minimums apply.

· A one year warranty on all solar installation work.

· Solar water heating installation training in a manufacturers approved course.

· Documented field or hands-on training experience with charging glycol solar loop.

· Documented field or hands-on training experience with installing roof-mounted brackets.

How Our Dealer/Installer Application Process Works

1. Fill out the application completely and submit it online. All information submitted will be kept confidential. Installer applicants required to pay a $25.00 fee for a background check should also send a check to:

2. After reviewing this application form and the credit check and/or background check (for installers) is complete, a Power Partners Solar representative will contact the applicant.

3. A visit to applicant’s facilities by a Power Partners Solar™ representative will be arranged.

4. Approved dealer award fee is due and minimum system purchase required within 30 days.

· The option of a full-size 6 foot collector or a 2 1/2 foot sample collector.

· 50 How to Go Solar brochures and electronic version for your use.

· 50 color charts.

· Dealer handbook.

· Discount off component purchases.

· Technical, custom, and commercial design support.

· Net 30 terms with credit approval.

· Dealer listing on our web site.

Approved Installers Will Receive

· Technical, custom, and commercial design support.

· Net 30 Terms with credit approval.

· Installer referral listing on our web site.
